ALICIA KEYS WANTS YOU!

Grammy Winner Launches Nationwide Search for Blogger at Monster.com
Alicia Keys is looking for a blogger.

The Grammy-winning superstar is partnering with online job search engine Monster.com to find a Head Blogger for her new website IAAS.com (I Am a Super Woman).

The process to apply kicks off today and continues through May 3; candidates can log onto Monster.com to apply and find more information on IAAS.com.

“With IAAS.com, I’ll be displaying my ‘voice’ in a different way and need just the right person to help me express a point of view that I don’t think exists yet in the blog world,” said Keys. “Combing the country is a big undertaking and I’m incredibly grateful to have Monster.com as a partner in this extensive and exciting process!”

"Alicia has given us the opportunity to help a talented blogger get the coolest job in social media," said Monster.com Global Chief Marketing Officer Ted Gilvar, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Monster.com. "Most employers are swamped with resumes so imagine Alicia's challenge with this job. Fortunately our precision search technology will help match the best candidates from the thousands that will apply.”

IAAS.com will launch officially in July, 2010 as an "online neighborhood for super women to check in with what other super women are thinking, doing, feeling, working on, eating, buying, wearing and laughing about, and to prompt discussions on things the modern super woman cares about."

The site will launch in July once the Head Blogger position is filled. IAAS.com is the first major undertaking for AK Worldwide, Inc., the company Alicia opened as the home and incubator for a number of ventures developing outside her career in music, which she launched last October..

Starting today, through May 3, Monster.com will come up with a select group of applicants that will be asked to submit videos and writing samples to an Advisory Panel including Keys, her core team of executives and Monster.com's Gilvar.

The top 10 candidates will be selected and flown to New York to meet the panel in person. The final three will then be sent to London to meet Alicia with their first assignment blogging about the Black Ball UK on May 27, Alicia’s black tie charity event benefiting Keep a Child Alive, a non-profit organization that provides medicine to families with HIV And AIDS in Africa and India. The new Head Blogger will be announced on June 25 in N.Y.
