Taylor Swift’s Speak Now continues to hold its piece of the #1 position on this week’s HITS Top 50.

The Big Machine/Universal Republic album adds another 328k to its total of 1.05m last week and is now approaching 1.4m in just two weeks, which makes her the fifth best-selling release of the year.

Broken Bow’s Jason Aldean album, My Kinda Party, distributed by Bob Morelli's RED, continues country music’s impressive sales showing, the seventh straight genre title to nab the week’s top debut, with 197k, good for #2.

Island/IDJ’s Mariah Carey holiday offering, Merry Christmas II You, is the week’s other newcomer, bowing at #4, with Mercury Nashville’s Sugarland (#3) and Cash Money/Universal Motown’s Lil Wayne (#5) rounding out the Top 5, giving Lucian Grainge’s UMG four of those entries, and six of the Top 10.

Columbia Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee Neil Diamond’s covers album, Dreams (#8), and Arista Nashville country star Brad Paisley’s Hits Alive (#9) both debut in the Top 10, alongside holdovers including RCA./RMG’s Kings of Leon (#6), Shady/Aftermath/Interscope’s Eminem (#7) and Decca’s Elton John and Leon Russell (#10).

Among the other new charted entries are Fader’s indie duo Matt & Kim (#23), Cherrytree/Interscope artists N.E.R.D. (#24), DGC/Interscope’s Escape the Fate (#27), Capitol/EMI’s Good Charlotte (#28), FearlessPunk Goes Pop Vol. 3 (#29), Hear Music’s reissue of Paul McCartney and WingsBand on the Run (#30) and Elvis Costello’s National Ransom (#39).

Taylor Swift’s Target exclusive Holiday Collection re-enters at #19, as does 19/Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood (#44).

Lady Antebellum’s Capitol Nashville/EMI title, Merry Little Christmas, is the week’s top gainer, moving #40-15, +129%. Other double-digit jumps are registered by Universal Republic’s Florence + the Machine (#49-43, +44%), Swift’s Fearless (#42, +20%), Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now (#26-22, +17%), Columbia Nashville’s Miranda Lambert (#40, +16%), Capitol/EMI’s Katy Perry (#17-13, +15%) and Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown’s Drake (#45, +14%).

Among this week’s top releases are Columbia’s Susan Boyle, Universal Motown’s Kid Cudi, Valory/Big Machine’s Reba McEntire, Capitol/EMI’s Now 36, New Elektra’s Cee Lo Green, Island/IDJ Bon Jovi Ultimate Hits package, Solid State’s Underoath, Roadrunner/Capitol’s Alter Bridge and Capitol/EMI’s Thirty Seconds to Mars deluxe package.
