Watertower Music’s Sex and the City 2 soundtrack (#11), Sony Music Latin’s Marc Anthony (#13), Arista Nashville’s Brooks & Dunn (#18), Curb’s Hank Williams III (#27), ATO’s Widespread Panic (#31), Stax/Concord’s Leela James (#35) and Silent Majority’s Framing Hanley (#38) are the other newcomers to the Top 50. Dik Hayd/EMI’s Slash album returns to the chart at #45.
Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood is the week’s top gainer, moving #35-22, +37%, no doubt a result of her American Idol performance.
