Toby Keith Bows at #1, Topping Kenny Chesney, as Bruno Mars, Waka Flocka Flame Bow in Top10

In a showdown between two of country music’s biggest gunslingers, Show Dog’s Toby Keith debuts at #1 with Bullets in the Gun, racking up 69k sales to best last week’s #1 finisher, BNA/RCA Nashville’s Kenny Chesney, who dips to #2 with 64k.

Did someone say fourth quarter?

New Elektra artist Bruno Mars uses the heat from last weekend’s superlative Saturday Night Live performance to bow at #3 with his debut, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, as his #1 hit song, “Just the Way You Are,” leads the charge.

Shady/Aftermath/Interscope’s Eminem, with the year’s top-selling album in Recovery, is up a spot to #4, with Atlantic’s Zac Brown Band rounding out the Top 5.

The only other Top 10 newcomer is Asylum Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame at #7, which, along with Warner Bros.Linkin Park (#6) and Atlantic’s Trey Songz (#9), give Lyor Cohen’s resurgent WMG five of this week’s Top 10. Capitol/EMI’s Katy Perry (#8, +20%) and Island/IDJ’s Justin Bieber (#10) complete the sales leaders.

Other Top 50 debuts are registered by E1’s Faith Evans (#12), 19/Jive/JLG’s David Archuleta (#15), Epitaph’s Bring Me the Horizon (#16), Universal Republic’s Guster (#18), Capitol/EMI’s John Lennon Power to the People compilation (#21), Rap-a-Lot’s Pimp C (#25), John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s Double Fantasy Stripped Down (#31), Atlantic’s Jason Mraz Life is Good EP (#33), Virgin/EMI’s KT Tunstall (#38), Epic’s Joe Satriani (#41) and Equal Vision’s Chodos (#42). Lady Gaga’s Fame Monster EP on Interscope (#34) and Nonesuch’s The Black Keys (#46) both re-enter.

This week’s releases include the physical version of Lil Wayne’s I Am Not a Human Being on Cash Money/Universal Motown; Capitol Nashville’s Darius Rucker; Nickelodeon/Columbia’s Big Time Rush; Universal Republic Nashville’s The Band Perry, Prosthetic metal band All That Remains and Interscope’s Far*East Movement.
