GRAMMY NOMINEES ALBUM TO BENEFIT HURRICANE RELIEF THROUGH MUSICARES

Sony BMG’s Strategic Marketing Group To Release Compilation This Tuesday

This year’s 2006 Grammy Nominees CD, released through Sony BMG's Strategic Marketing Group, hits retail on Tuesday (1/24), with a portion of proceeds from the sale of the CD to benefit the MusiCares and Grammy Foundations, which in turn, will be earmarked for Hurricane Katrina relief.


The 21 tracks represent nominees from several different categories, including Gorillaz (“Feel Good Inc.), Green Day (“Boulevard of Broken Dreams”), Mariah Carey (“It’s Like That”), Paul McCartney (“Fine Line”), U2 (“City of Blinding Lights”), Rascall Flatts (“Bless the Broken Road”), Bruce Springsteen (“Devils & Dust”), John Legend (“Ordinary People”), Jack Johnson (“Sitting, Waiting, Wishing”), Seal (“Walk on By”), Rob Thomas (“Lonely No More”), Stevie Wonder (“From the Bottom of My Heart”), Kelly Clarkson (“Since U Been Gone”), Sheryl Crow (“Good is Good”), Coldplay (“Speed of Sound”), Foo Fighters (“Best of You”), The Rolling Stones (“Rain Fall Down”), Neil Young (“The Painter”), Beck (“E-Pro”), Death Cab for Cutie (“Soul Meets Body”) and Franz Ferdinand (“Do You Want To”).
