RIAA is cracking down on more than 470 new peeps pirating music, and guess what? Sixty-nine of those cited are students. These universities and colleges need to wake up before their students are put on blast. Another 10 bucks a month per student added to the housing fee is a lot better than having them raided by the FBI.

NOT DOWN WITH THE DIGITS
Forty-five Tennessee State Universities will not have Napster in their dorm rooms because the Tennessee Board of Regents voted against implementing a digital music delivery system for students. The reason: the regents didn’t want to incorporate the $9.99-a-month fee per student in their housing fees as they perceive that illegal downloading doesn’t pose a problem for them. Oh, really? Well, since the FBI just finished up 120 raids for intellectual-property piracy—including that Deer Valley Arizona School—I guess we know which schools to drop a dime on next. RIAA is cracking down on more than 470 new peeps pirating music, and guess what? Sixty-nine of those cited are students. These universities and colleges need to wake up before their students are put on blast. Another 10 bucks a month per student added to the housing fee is a lot better than having them raided by the FBI.
