Something’s Gotta Give Debuts at the Top
International playa and Laker’s fan Jack Nicholson debuted at the top of the box office with Something’s Gotta Give. The movie, about a love triangle involving Diane Keaton, Jack, and Keanu Reeves, opened with $17 million.

In second place was last week’s top flick, The Last Samurai, with $14 million.

The weekend’s other openers were the Farrelly brothers’ conjoined twin comedy starring Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear, Stuck on You, which opened in third with $10 million, and Love Don’t Cost a Thing, which bowed in fourth with $6.5 million.

Geeks are already camped out for the final movie of the Lord of the Rings trilogy opening Wednesday.
