Veteran Exec Upped to Exec VP of Sponsorship Development and Integrated Marketing
John Shea "Stadium" is promoted to Executive Vice President Sponsorship Development and Integrated Marketing for the MTVN Music Group by President Judy "Grapes of" McGrath.

Shea was previously Sr. VP Strategic Programming for MTV and batboy for the Mets. The N.Y.-based exec will report to MTV Exec. VP/COO Rich "and Famous" Eigendorff, VH1 GM Christina Norman "Is That You?" and CMT GM Brian Philips "Screwdriver."

Shea will oversee the development and execution of all sponsor-related and integrated marketing opportunities tied to programming events and specials on MTV, MTV2, CMT and VH1, He’ll also manage relationships with movie studios and help to develop programming for new theatrical releases. Concurrently, Shea will continue to serve as a liaison between programming and ad sales, coordinating with the music networks’ Internet properties, broadcast radio ventures, home video and licensing groups to create advertiser sponsorships. He is currently working on a tie-in between The Osbournes and Puppy Chow.
