ONE-DAY SALES: 50 CENT TO KEEP THRONE

In his sixth week of release, rapper 50 Cent is on track to top the Album Chart yet again, according to early reports from national accounts.

He may have a two-bit name, but he has one HUGE album, and you can take that to the bank. Indeed, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) has sold over 3 million since hitting stores Feb. 6.

Of course, 50 Cent staying at #1 depends on how Norah Jones’ Come Away with Me (Blue Note) does over the course of the week. While settling considerably following her spectacular Grammy spike, the album’s still a force to contend with, and if we’ve learned one thing through all this, it’s whatever you do, don’t piss Norah off. You don’t want her mad at you.

Meanwhile, the week’s biggest new chart entry should go to Columbia’s Killer Mike, whose full-length debut, Monster, is beating expectations in the early going and appears on track to sell upwards of 90k.

Also beating expectations is DreamWorks’ A.F.I., whose major-label debut Sing the Sorrow should log about 75k in sales by the end of the week.

Also debuting on next week’s chart will be Blackstreet’s Level II (DreamWorks), Ben Harper’s Diamonds on the Inside (Virgin), Everclear’s Slow-Motion Daydream (Capitol), Ms. Dynamite’s A Little Deeper (Interscope) and Ani DiFranco’s Evolve (Righteous Babe), each of which should come in shy of 50k
