JOHNNY WRIGHT AIN’T WRONG FOR KOCH

Indie Distrib Inks Trio of Distribution Deals
North American independent distributor Koch Entertainment Distribution today announced a deal with manager Johnny Wright (Britney Spears, NSYNC, P. Diddy, Boyz II Men) to exclusively distribute his new Wright International Records and Entertainment label—that’s WIRE, for all you acronym enthusiasts.

WIRE, which represents one of the latest forays by a management company into the label realm, will release the debut album from Wright signing Triple Image, a pop singing/dancing group comprising of three sisters, age 12, 12 and 11. Gotta start ’em young if they’re gonna get anywhere in this life.

"We are very excited about the relationship that we have developed with Koch and look forward to a dynamic and prosperous future," said Wright. "Our Triple Image release comes as a fresh twist o the ‘tween’ pop scene, and we anticipate having a strong debut for our label."

Said Koch President Michael Rosenberg, "We are very excited to be working with Johnny Wright on his new label venture. His keen eye for talent and his experience in artist development speaks for itself. We expect Triple Image to be one of the biggest releases of the year."

Separately, Koch has announced two additional distribution agreements. The first, with Suave House founder Tony Draper’s Houston-based Draper Inc., will see Koch distribute releases from 8Ball, FoulMouf, Dez and Mr. Sche, as well as re-issues from the Suave House catalog expected this fall.

The second agreement is with Boston-based Amerigo Records, a full-service label established earlier this year by J. Neil Donahue, founder of fan club management company Fans Rule, Inc. Amerigo’s first two releases will be from vocalist Rockapella.
