LET THE SUNSHINE IN, SET UP THOSE STEERS & STRIPES

Macy Gray-Managed Neo-Soulstress, Nashville Good Ol' Boys Up Next
Look’s like Epic's "NOW Vol. 6" has one more week atop the album chart before the divas come calling.

Based on first-day sales of retailers around the country, Soul Life/Atlantic's Macy Gray-managed Sunshine Anderson and Arista Nashville’s reliable Brooks & Dunn will be next week's biggest retail debuts, with the latter having a good shot at cracking the Top 10.

The country duo's "Steers & Stripes" will probably edge out Anderson's debut, "Your Woman," with first-week sales approaching 90-100k, while the neo-soul newcomer is looking at OTC numbers slightly north of 50k. After a flurry of activity from the racks, that will place the cowboy duo in the Top 10 and Anderson somewhere in the lower regions of the Top 20.

Other new releases on the sales radar this week include N.Y. radio personality Angie Martinez's "Up Close & Personal" (EastWest) and Stereophonics' "J.E.E.P." (V2).

All eyes are now on April 24, when Janet Jackson's new Virgin album, "All For You," streets. A deluxe duel of the divas comes the following week with Destiny's Child's "Survivor" (Columbia) hitting. Industry pundits are predicting each could soar over the 500k mark in opening week sales.
