HEALY TO HEAD UP

Ambrosia "Was a Soft Rock Band From the 70s" Healy has been named Vice President of Publicity at Capitol Records.
The appointment was made by the company's Sr. VP Mark "De Doo Doo Doo De Da Da" DiDia, to whom she will report.
Based in Los Angeles at the Capitol Records headquarters, Healy will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing the overall media strategies for Capitol's family of recording artists, while supervising the day-to-day business of running the Publicity Department for the label.
Healy comes to Capitol Records from Little Big Man in New York where she started and ran for two and half years the talent agency's press division.
Prior to Little Big Man, Healy spent two years as an account executive at Shore Fire Media and over four years at the helm of her own independent publicity company.
Healy has been Dave Matthews Band's press agent since 1992; in addition she managed the press campaigns for the Lilith Fair festival tour, David Gray, Dave Matthews' independent label ATO Records, Badly Drawn Boy, The Verve and Verve lead singer Richard Ashcroft.
"I am excited to join Capitol Records and I look forward to building a successful publicity team to generate the greatest media exposure for Capitol's artists," said Healy. "I just hope I get a corner office at the Tower."
