Dow, Nasdaq Fall as Market Opens for First Time Since Tuesday’s Tragedy
In the aftermath of last Tuesday's tragedy, the stock market re-opened this morning with stocks tumbling. The Dow Jones Industrial Average had droppedas much as 716 points before closing at 8920.70, its lowest level since 1998. The Nasdaq fell 115.75 points.

Insurers and airlines took the largest drops, and entertainment, the online sector and record companies all took hits with AOL, Clear Channel, Jacor, Disney, Sirius, Sony, Vivendi Universal, Viacom all hitting 52-week lows.
