A police officer could face felony charges after allegedly urinating on a soundboard at a Pearl Jam concert in Massachusetts, Pollstar reports. Sandwich Police Chief Michael Miller told the Cape Cod Times a three-year veteran of the force has been put on paid administrative leave pending completion of an internal investigation. Police said the officer was off duty when he attended the Aug. 29 concert. The officer could now face a felony charge for destruction of property over $250, and two misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct and indecent exposure. Concertgoers sad the cop was unhappy with the band's set list and decided to show his discontent.

has postponed two more concert dates due to a sore throat, said her label, RCA Records. "Due to efforts to avoid a lengthy or serious vocal problem, Christina's doctors, concerned that her voice is slightly strained due to her heavy schedule, have asked her to take three days off and rest," a statement read. A Sept. 11 concert in Virginia Beach and a Sept. 9 performance in Boston were nixed. Both are expected to be rescheduled. Whisper-thin crooner Marc Anthony pulled out of the Latin Grammy Awards due to complications with his wife's pregnancy,
Wallofsound.com reports. Anthony married former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres on May 10 and disclosed three months later that she was six months pregnant. "At this time, more than ever, I need to retreat and be with my family," Anthony said in a statement. Other performers who have yet to pull out include Christina Aguilera (whose Spanish-language debut "Mi Reflejo" streets today), Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez and that well-known Latin group NSYNC. Despite rumors, the second best known Latin group in North America, Hanson, will not be able to perform.

, NSYNC and R.E.M. are among 98 musical acts being lined up for a January rock concert in Rio de Janeiro, organizers said. "Rock in Rio for a Better World," which will benefit social services unit Viva Rio, is set to run Jan. 12-21 and is being sponsored by AOL. Organizers said it the show is expected to draw over 2 million people. At the kickoff of the event, all of the television stations in Brazil will simultaneously go silent for three minutes to draw attention to the festival, organizers said. No word if the TV stations will remain silent during Spears' and NSYNC's sets for other reasons.

In their positions, Quinn and Volandes will help create platforms for BMG artists, labels and business units through long-term partnerships and cross-marketing programs with consumer brands that have included Intel, Visa, American Airlines, Sunglass Hut and AT&T, among others. Quinn and Volandes will report to Scott "If I Were A" Richman, VP, Partnership Marketing, for the company. Despite the commonly held belief around HITS' offices BMG's Partnership Marketing Department has nothing to do with finding mates for major label executives.
