The Internet radio service will carry Tommy Boy's catalog of more than 200 albums, including releases from De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah, Handsome Boy Modeling School and Everlast. MIX-MASTERS
Yahoo! Shopping is teaming with imix.com to offer custom CDs. The move makes Yahoo the first major ISP to venture into the personalized music field. Users can choose from the entire imix.com library of major label and artist listings, as well as special programming and promotions. Said imix CEO David Gould: "The demand for personalized music is continually growing, and as one of the best recognized and heavily trafficked commerce destinations on the Web, Yahoo! Shopping is an excellent distribution platform for our innovative service." Gould denied rumors each CD will contain a hidden track by lounge lizard Robert Goulet.

SHARE AND SHARE ALIKE
As its upcoming merger with Terra Networks is expected to close this month, Lycos has announced an exchange ratio of 2.15. Lycos shareholders will receive 2.15 Terra shares for every Lycos share currently owned, with the option of choosing between Terra ordinary shares, or Terra ADS (American Depository Share). Said Lycos President/CEO Bob Davis: "The exchange ratio offers Lycos shareholders a substantial premium. But, of equal importance is the global powerhouse we are creating with Terra Lycos. We have a history of success in creating shareholder value at Lycos and we expect our new company to continue that tradition." The merger will create Terra Lycos, a global Internet company with operations in more than 40 countries, including Canada, our much-maligned neighbors to the north.
