Principles Of Feng Shui Applied, All Executives Angled Toward Prosperity
Following the completion of the AOL Time Warner mega-merger, "You Can Call Me" Ray Oglethorpe has been tapped to become President of AOL's Internet unit.

Barry "Walk A Mile In Another Man's" Schuler, who was formerly President of AOL Interactive Services, has become Chairman/CEO of AOL Inc.

Oglethorpe, who was previously President of AOL Technologies, will share management responsibilities with Schuler. He will oversee the company's CompuServe service, while Schuler will be in charge of the AOL brands, including AOL International, AOL's instant messaging services, and other divisions.

"This new organization, by building on and making full use of our shared infrastructure, will enable us to deliver for consumers, meet our business objectives and accelerate the growth of AOL Time Warner," Schuler said in a statement. "Oh, by the way, you're fired."

The world's largest media company also announced a series of other appointments. Jan "Low Prices On Name" Brandt "Merchandise", formerly President of Marketing, has assumed the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer, while Ted "& Breakfast" Leonsis, previously President of the Interactive Properties Group, has been named Vice Chair/New Product Officer. Jonathan "Led The League With 13" Sacks, previously Senior VP/GM of the AOL service, has been named President of AOL's flagship service, and Audrey Weil "E. Coyote", previously Senior VP/GM of CompuServe, has been named President of the Web service.

Donn "By The Old Mill Stream" Davis, formerly COO of the Interactive Properties Group has been appointed President of that group, which will oversee local services and MapQuest, AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ. Myer "25 Degrees" Berlow, previously President of Interactive Marketing, has now taken on the title of President of Worldwide Interactive Marketing.
