BRITNEY SPEARS EMINEM IN TRL RESULTS

Perkiness Outrequests Profanity For TRL Win
Given the choice between Eminem in Britney Spears drag or the real thing in tight red vinyl, "Total Request Live" voters went with the better dancer. No word yet on whether Slim Shady's best friend carson daly',390,400);">carson daly',390,400);">Carson Daly had anything to do with tipping the vote in Spears' victory.

The day after her sophomore record, "Ooops… I Did It Again," sold 500,000 copies, Spears outgunned Eminem on MTV's popular "TRL," edging him out for the top spot. And don't act like you don't watch it. The clip for the title track beat the Detroit rapper's "The Real Slim Shady" for the first time Wednesday (5/17). At one point in Eminem's video he wears a Catholic schoolgirl uniform and imitates Spears. At one point in Spears' video, she does some stuff that makes us feel, well, kind of tingly.

The TRL competition is a preview of the battle for the top of the album charts following the release of Eminem's second record, "The Marshall Mathers LP" May 23. Predicters are predicting that Eminem should be able to knock her off the top spot, which she'll undoubtedly take next week. Early indications show that "Oops" will hit the million mark for its first seven days out. Let's just hope Eminem's next clip doesn't feature him in a catsuit.
