Boyz II Men have joined the talent roster of Creative Artists Agency. The group were previously at William Morris. They continue to be managed by Southpaw Entertainment's Qadree El-Amin.
Under the terms of the agreement, CAA will represent the multi-platinum vocal act in all areas worldwide – including film, television, new media and concert tours. Boyz II Men will release their next album, and first since moving over from Motown to Universal Records, “NateMikeShawn and Wan,” in September. The first single from the album will come out in June.
“We are thrilled to be working with such talented individuals,” said Rob Light of CAA. “Their impact on Pop and R&B has been astounding. They have forever left their stamp on the music business and have paved the way for future artists.”
Commented the band: "This is cool, but when do we get to meet Ovitz? Whaddya mean he's not working here anymore?"
Boyz II Men released its debut album, “Cooleyhighharmony,” in 1992, selling 14 million units. The follow-up, “Boyz II Men II,” had nearly equal success. The band's last album was '98's "Evolution."
