I-JAM, NEXTAUDIO INK MARKETING DEAL

I-Jam Multimedia signed a strategic and marketing alliance Thursday with NextAudio Inc., the creators of MyRadio, a personalized, portable radio service delivered over the Internet. Under this agreement, users of I-Jam's future Win-Jam digital audio player will be able to listen to their personalized "radio stations" from any MyRadio enabled site on the Win-Jam device.

"I-Jam and MyRadio are joining efforts to afford Win-Jam users the opportunity to use their MP3 player as a personalized radio," said Doug Marrison, President and CEO of I-Jam Multimedia. "We want to expand the capability and usage of Win-Jam to enable consumers to use the device in many different ways. Win-Jam users will now have the options of listening to I-Jam's pre-recorded MMC cards, transferring their own personal CDs to MP3 format or downloading MyRadio's personalized programming. This alliance really broadens the world of digital music. And, best of all, there's no pending litigation against us."

The MyRadio service allows users to create one or more customized music stations with any mix of music they choose including alternative, rock, blues, classical, jazz and more.
