NSYNC, METALLICA, D'ANGELO
SLATED FOR MTV MOVIE AWARDS

Acts Lined Up For Big Gala, But What Will They Wear?

MTV has announced performers for its "2000 MTV Movie Awards." NSYNC, Metallica and D'Angelo have been tapped to dance and sing at the June 3 taping. HITS will no doubt be covering it, since there's an office pool.

Joel Gallen's Tenth Planet Productions will once again produce because, according to insiders, "he runs the best craft services table in the business."

Metallica is doing "I Disappear" off of the "Mission Impossible 2" soundtrack, available now on Napster or, more legally, May 16.

NSYNC will perform the second single from "No Strings Attached," It's Gonna Be Me." Might this be a good time to point out that "No Strings Attached" has sold more than 7 million copies. Or that Justin is dreamy? D'Angelo will sing "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" and will hopefully strip it down, just like in the video.

"The Matrix" and "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" snagged six nominations apiece. The show airs June 8. Who are you wearing? Anyone know the name of Jennifer Lopez's tailor?
