For the record industry, it's like Christmas in May.

Britney Spears, Eminem, Whitney Houston, matchbox twenty, Phish, DJ Quik, Don Henley and Gloria Estefan are just a few of the superstars with releases on tap this month.

"Two mind-bogglingly huge weeks are ahead of us," said the mind-bogglingly huge Bob Bell of Wherehouse Records. "I feel like it's November. Which reminds me, I have to do my holiday shopping."

The movie business isn't the only one with some blockbusters up its sleeve.
