It is the company's first institutional investment round; Dgolpe raised $500,000 of seed capital from private investors to launch the venture earlier this year.
Other investors in the round included Pramera, a Latin American subsidiary of Liberty Media International, and private investors.
The company will use the financing to develop broadband and wireless services and expand into European markets.
Dgolpe produces guides to online music in English, Spanish and Portuguese that help users find, listen to and obtain digital music.
