Former BMG International Prez/CEO Succeeds Walter Lichte As Chairman

Rudi Gassner, the former BMG Entertainment International President/CEO was elected chairman of edel music's supervisory board, effective Sept. 1. The move was expected (hitsdailydouble.com, 4/12).

He succeeds attorney Walter Lichte, who remains on the board. News Corp. Music Group chairman James Murdoch also joins the board, effective immediately.
