World's Largest Music Publisher Puts Catalog on the Net
Who gives a sheet (music, that is)?

EMI Music Publishing, the world's largest music publisher, and Net4musichave entered into an agreement whereby the portal will digitize and globally distribute sheet music in digital form from EMI's one-million-title catalog.

The agreement will cover the digital creation, licensing and marketing of EMI's catalog of sheet music. As part of the deal, EMI will get a minority equity position in Net4Music.

Net4Music launched its portal for musicians in 1999, featuring digitized downloadable sheet music and MIDI files and offering secure access to over 40,000 titles.
