We are more disappointed that Fred is manipulating the media and the truth by using Creed as a scapegoat for his own immature and egotistical actions"

CREED, LIMP BIZKIT GET DYSFUNCTIONAL

Creed Responds To Durst Dis at WXRK "Family Picnic"
Is that anyway for a Christian rock band to act?

Creed have responded to Limp Bizkit leader fred durst',390,400);">fred durst',390,400);">Fred Durst's on-stage tirade against the band last Friday at WXRK N.Y.'s "Dysfunctional Family Picnic" with some choice comments of their own.

Durst and the band kept the crowd waiting for nearly an hour (claiming he was "stuck in traffic") when he finally arrived and discovered that Bizkit would be performing while it was still light out—and before Creed. Refusing to take the stage, Durst only agreed to play until after "finishing his dinner," then offered the crowd "pillows and blankets so they could sleep through" Creed's set.

Retribution was swift from offended parties. Sharon Osbourne got even with the rockers by allegedly pulling the plug on the band, cutting off the power and sound about an hour-and-a-half into their set.

Creed then issued the following statement: "We are extremely disappointed that fred durst',390,400);">fred durst',390,400);">Fred Durst has taken his personal feelings toward us public, considering we have never met or spoken to him… We are more disappointed that Fred is manipulating the media and the truth by using Creed as a scapegoat for his own immature and egotistical actions… We don't appreciate his lack of responsibility for his own actions, and his attempts to deflect blame with criticism of us and our fans."

Creed bassist Brian Marshall recently got the band into hot water on Seattle radio station KNDD "The End" by saying leader Scott Stapp's lyrics were much better than those of Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

Can't we all just get along—or, if not, blame it all on Eminem?
