CAPITOL CONGRESS CONVENES

Leave Your Tri-Corner Hat at Home; This Is Barnett's Show

In 2013, Steve Barnett’s first year at the helm of the Capitol Music Group, he created an annual in-house confab dubbed the Capitol Congress, and the second edition will take place this week in Hollywood.

Among those expected to attend are a number of British dignitaries, including UMG International chief Max Hole, Universal U.K. Chairman David Joseph, Capitol U.K. President Nick Raphael (whose signings include Sam Smith and the now-streeting 5 Seconds ofSummer) and Virgin EMI prexy Ted Cockle (Bastille, Emeli Sandé).

It’s a non-press event, but we’re nosy by nature, and we promise to share anything we happen to overhear.
