What Got Added at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Goin' to Indio this weekend, buddy? Drinks at the bar at La Quinta? Alright, alright, but before you go, check the add action at three key radio formats.

TOP 40
Capitol
makes it three weeks in a row on the Most Added list for 5 Seconds Of Summer’s “She Looks So Perfect” and picks up another spot with My Crazy Girlfriend’s “Crazy Stupid Love,” ahead of the official impact date. Def Jam grabs two slots as with Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” for a fourth week, and with Afrojack f/Wrabel’s “Ten Feet Tall” before impact. Last week’s #1 Most Added, Nico & Vinz's “Am I Wrong” (Warner Bros.), is back for a second week on the list, and Columbia gets in on the pre-impact action with HAIM’s “Forever.” RCA is back for a fourth week with Pitbull f/GRL’s “Wild Wild Love,” and Republic closes out the action, with another double-digit add week on Tiesto’s “Red Lights.”

RHYTHM
Republic has a great week, as SoMo’s "Show Off" grabs top honors and has the only double-digit add week. They also had another solid week with Young Money f/Drake’s "Trophies." RCA did well over the week, as Justin Timberlake’s "Not a Bad Thing," Kid Ink f/Chris Brown’s "Main Chick" and Tinashe’s "2 On" are on the list. Other impressive weeks were seen with Calvin Harris’ "Summer" on Columbia, and both Future f/Pharrell’s "Move That Doh" and Bando Jonez’s "Sex You" on Epic.

ALTERNATIVE

A lot of clean-up dominated the Modern Rock landscape this week. RCA continued their hot streak with Cage the Elephant's latest, "Take It or Leave It,” earning Most Added honors this week. Columbia was next up with Foster the People's new single, "Best Friend." Capitol had a good day with Beck's "Blue Moon," Capital Cities’ "One Minute More" and Broods’ "Bridges." Republic continues to impress with Lorde's "Glory and Gore" and Birds of Tokyo's "Lanterns." On the indie front, Crush's Big Data and Downtown's SomeKindaWonderful posted a strong day of adds.
