VIBE-RATERS: LORDE HAVE MERCY, THE CIVIL WARS ARE UPON US!

"The One That Got Away" and "Royals" Bring Plenty of Vibe to This Week's Round-Up
Two beguiling new songs join the ranks of our Vibe-Raters this week.

First up is "The One That Got Away" by sensibility/Columbia's The Civil Wars. The major-label follow-up to the multiple-Grammy-winning duo's incredibly successful, critically adored, self-released debut is #1 Most Added at Triple A, with love from SiriusXM Spectrum, WQKL, WXRT, WWDC, CIDR, KTCZ, WSUN, KBCO, WRNR, KINK and more. The gorgeous black-and-white video was added at VH1 and is on at CMT and CMT Pure Country; it bowed this week on VEVO.

The pair's full-length album is due 8/6; their prior release sold more than 600k.

Also new this week: Lava/Republic's 16-year-old Kiwi songstress Lorde, whose evocative "Royals" (from her EP The Love Club), already an international hit, is making PoMo and Triple A bow down. Among those kneeling: SiriusXM Alt Nation and Spectrum, 98.7, KROQ, WKQX, KITS, WSUN, KTCZ, KFOG, WXRT and WXRV.

"Royals" has enjoyed more than a million online views, and the digital press has been worshiping Lorde, including Rolling Stone, Entertainment Week and Interview. The Love Club is out and selling, with a full-length release expected this fall.

In other Vibe news, Republic Nashville's Florida Georgia Line takes the #1 spot, Star Trak/Interscope's Robin Thicke moves up two places to #3, and Modular's Tame Impala (with a fresh KROQ add for their "Elephant") marches up to #5. Read all about it here.
