FRIDAY CHART PREVIEW

What to Expect at Four KeyMediabase Formats Next Week
We're having a vision ... a vision of the future. Robots are the masters! Humans are the servants! Flying cars shoot lasers, and--oh, sorry. Actually, all we can see is what's coming to four key Mediabase radio charts. But that's still useful, and not nearly as chilling.

TOP 40

A Change at the Top: “Wrecking Ball” by RCA's Miley Cyrus is #1. Capitol moves Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally” into the Top 10. Mr305/RCA gets Pitbull f/Kesha’s “Timber” to take a huge jump to Top 15, gaining 1,500+ spins. New to the chart this week are two from RCA, Britney Spears’ “Perfume”(in its first week out) and New Politics’ “Harlem.”

RHYTHMIC
Jay Z
’s "Tom Ford" (Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation) makes its way into the Top 10. Pitbull f/Ke$ha’s "Timber" (RCA) takes a leap after a great increase, and Drake’s "The Language" (YM/CM/Republic) will be the biggest debut on the chart this week. Tyga f/Justin Bieber’s "Wait For A Minute" (YM/CM/Republic) and YG’s "My Hitta" (CTE/Def Jam/IDJ) also look to debut this week. Bubbling just under the chart are Future f/Miley Cyrus’ "Real And True" (Epic) and J Cole’s "She Knows" (Roc Nation//Columbia), which impacts this week.

ALTERNATIVE

Cage The Elephant (RCA) continues to have the #1 song in America with "Come A Little Closer"; the band has now expanded its lead to well over 200x. Monkeywrench/Republic's Pearl Jam will rise to #6 with "Sirens," and is moments away from having a Top 5 record. Domino's Arctic Monkeys will enter the Top 10 with "Do I Wanna Know?" WB gets Linkin Park on deck for the Top 10 with "A Light That Never Comes." Columbia's Broken Bells will make its chart debut with "Holding On for Life."

HOT AC

“Wake Me Up” by PRMD/Island/IDJ’s Avicii, moves into the #1 slot this week. Epic has the biggest chart position move with The Fray’s “Love Don’t Die” and its huge increase in spins. Other greatest gainers this week include Epic's A Great Big World, American Authors’ “Best Day of My Life”(Island/IDJ) and Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally” (Capitol). RCA will see Justin Timberlake’s “TKO” chart this week.
