Not even Hurricane Sandy could derail Taylor Swift’s Big Machine album Red from the #1 slot on the HITS Album sales chart, racking up another 331k to bring its two-week total to 1.53m.

Maybach Music Group/WB East Coast rapper Meek Mill’s Dreams & Nightmares is the week’s biggest debut, bowing at #2 with 167k.

Verve’s Rod Stewart holiday album, Merry Christmas Baby, lands at #3, with an impressive 95k, about a third of that total from his appearance on Home Shopping Network.

Broken Bow’s Jason Aldean (#4) and Aftermath/Interscope’s Kendrick Lamar (#5) remain holdovers in the Top 5.

Other new entries in the Top 50 include A&M/Octone’s Flyleaf (#17), Columbia’s British album chart-topper Calvin Harris (#18) and Epitaph’s Parkway Drive (#26).

Capitol Nashville’s Eric Church (#34-13, +118%), Luke Bryan (#23-11, +89%) and Group/Song of the Year winners Little Big Town (#11-10, +36%) all experience post-CMA sales spikes, along with 19/Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood (#21-12, +69%), Warner Bros. Nashville’s Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton (#43-28), Atlantic’s Zac Brown Band (#42-33, +32%) and New Artist recipient Hunter Hayes (#26-25, +20%). In addition, Aldean’s My Kinda Party re-enters at #37.Other double-digit gainers include SNL performers fun. (#22, +18%) and Syco/Columbia’s One Direction (#21, +10%).

Hitting retail this week are Columbia’s Aerosmith, Capitol/UMD’s Now 44, Motown/ IDJ’s Ne-Yo, Columbia’s Glee Grease soundtrack, Razor & Tie’s All That Remains and Essential’s Third Day.
