YOUR RADIO ADD RECAP

The Add Action at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Buddy! Feeling a little rough after your Labor Day weekend celebrations? Judging from the pics we're seeing online, you should be. If you're no longer seeing double, take a look at what’s getting added at three key Mediabase formats, you rascal, you.

TOP 40

Warner Bros. grabs #1 Most Added honors with another big week on Jason Derulo's “Trumpets.” Capitol returns to the list with Katy Perry's "This Is How We Do." RCA grabs two slots with Pitbull f/John Ryan's "Fireball" and Mr. Probz's "Waves," as does Republic with American Authors' "Believer" (on Island) and Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda." Def Jam closes out the action, picking up two slots as well with Jeremih f/YG's "Don't Tell 'Em" and Alesso's "Heroes."

RHYTHM

In a fairly quiet post-Labor Day Tuesday, Def Jam grabs double-digit commitments with YG f/TeeFlii’s "Do It to Ya." Drake’s "0-100" (Republic), Beyoncé’s "Flawless" (Columbia) and Meghan Trainor’s "All About That Bass" (Epic) also continue to build their profiles.

ALTERNATIVE
All of the holiday programming that occurred over Labor Day weekend didn’t slow down Warner Bros., as Death From Above 1979's "Trainwreck 1979" (Last Gang/WB) was this week’s Most Added record at Modern Rock. The Black Keys also had a huge day with their latest single, "Gotta Get Away" (Nonesuch/WB). The chart saw a good week of close-out adds for "Flaws," by Virgin’s Bastille, and "Cigarette Daydreams" by RCA's Cage the Elephant. Watch out for Mikky Ekko's "Smile," on RCA, as KNDD Seattle, WWCD Columbus and KRBZ Kansas City all added it today!
