TUESDAY CHART WRAP-UP

We Survey the Action at Three Key Mediabase Radio Formats

Let's have a look at the action on three key Mediabase charts, and then let's have a cocktail.

TOP 40
It was a big week for RCA, with two in the Top 10 Most Added with Britney Spears’ “Perfume” nabbing the top spot out of the box and Pitbull f/Ke$ha’s “Timber” right behind for a second week. Columbia grabs two spots as well with One Direction’s “Story Of My Life” and MKTO’s “Classic.” Epic scores the coup of the week with A Great Big World’s “Say Something” not only being Most Added but scoring huge adds at KIIS and KAMP. Rounding out the action are Austin Mahone’s “Banga! Banga!” (Republic), Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “White Walls” (Macklemore/ADA/WB) and Zendaya’s “Replay” (Hollywood).

RHYTHMIC
After a great job of set up and station visits, Epic has the Most Added record at the format this week with Future f/Miley Cyrus' “Real And True.” YG f/Rich Homie Quan & Jeezy's “My Hitta” takes second, and is looking to debut this coming week on the chart. Republic has a strong week as Drake's “The Language” and Akon's “So Blue” are among the most added as well. Columbia starts early as J Cole's “She Knows” gets an early eight adds, and John Legend's “All Of Me” pulls in four. Kid Ink’s “Show Me” and Pitbull f/Ke$ha's “Timber” round out the week with five new commitments this week.
