YOUR RADIO CHART PREVIEW

What to Expect at Three Key Mediabase Formats

L'shana tova, buddy! What are you atoning for this Yom Kippur? We hardly know where to start on our sins, but at least we can avoid one sin of omission by remembering to post this preview of three key Mediabase radio charts. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're pretty stoned and could really go for a double bacon cheeseburger right about now…

TOP 40

Epic's Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" will hold at #1 for one more week. Over at Republic, Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" (Big Machine), Ariana Grande f/Zedd’s "Break Free" and Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj’s "Bang Bang" (Lava/Republic) make three big gainers inside the Top 10; Island's Tove Lo will join them in the Top 10 this week with "Habits (Stay High)." This week’s Greatest Gainer, Iggy Azalea f/Rita Ora’s "Black Widow" (Grand Hustle/Def Jam), will be battling for the #1 spot next week. Def Jam's other Top 10 mover is Jeremih f/YG’s "Dont Tell 'Em." Calvin Harris f/John Newman’s "Blame" (Columbia), Jason Derulo’s "Trumpets" (Warner Bros.) and Nick Jonas’ "Jealous" (Island/Republic) all make the Top 20 jump this week. SYCO/Columbia's One Direction will chart in a big way this week with "Steal My Girl." The same can be said for Warner Bros.’ Nico & Vinz and their single, “In Your Arms,” as both jump way up the chart to the mid 20s.

RHYTHM

Will Def Jam's Jeremih hold on to #1 for another week with "Don't Tell ‘Em" f/YG? It's too close to call at this point, as "No Mediocre," by Grand Hustle/Columbia's T.I. f/Iggy Azalea, and "Black Widow,” by Grand Hustle/Def Jam’s Iggy Azalea f/Rita Ora, battle for that same slot. Chris Brown f/Usher & Rick Ross’ "New Flame" (RCA) is still on fire, as is Kendrick Lamar’s "i" (Aftermath/Interscope). YMCMB/Republic's Drake is red-hot with "0-100," while DJ Khaled f/Chris Brown, August Alsina, Future & Jeremih’s "Hold You Down" and "Habits (Stay High)" by Island's Tove Lo have very impressive spin jumps. Speaking of strong spin jumps, Big Sean’s "I Don’t Fuck With You (IDFWU)" (Def Jam) also gets into stride.

ALTERNATIVE

Republic’s Milky Chance will comfortably remain at #1 with their breakout smash, "Stolen Dance." Columbia's Hozier makes a strong move to inside the Top 5 with his "Take Me to Church." Lorde's new Hunger Games single, "Yellow Flicker Beat" (Lava/Republic), will impressively debut at #17. BUSH's "The Only Way Out" (Zuma Rock/RAL) is up another 100x and moves to #28. RCA's Walk The Moon is having similar success with their new track, "Shut Up And Dance," which quickly climbs inside the Top 30.
