TOP 40

Another week, another new #1. This week, the top spot will belong to 222/Interscope’s Maroon 5 and their hit single, “Animals.” Other big gainers in the Top 10 will include "Blame," by Columbia’s Calvin Harris f/John Newman, and "Waves," by Ultra/RCA's Mr Probz; both are set to go Top 5. Island’s Nick Jonas will make the jump up to the Top 10 with “Jealous,” and Big Machine’s Taylor Swift has this week's Greatest Gainer, as “Blank Space” climbs all the way to #13 in just three short weeks. Iggy Azalea f/MØ’s "Beg for It" (Grand Hustle/Def Jam) is up over 1000 spins and will move to #16. RCA's 2000+ spin mover, Mark Ronson f/Bruno Mars’ "Uptown Funk," will be charting and landing firmly inside the Top 30 after just one week. Also charting this week is Capitol's Eden XO with "Too Cool to Dance."

RHYTHM

We’ll have two new entries into the Top 10 this week, as Ariana Grande & The Weeknd’s "Love Me Harder" (Republic) and I Love Makonnen f/Drake’s "Tuesday" (OVO/Warner Bros.) both move up. Def Jam's Big Sean will be up over 500 spins again this week with “IDFWU.” RCA's Mr. Probz is gathering a tidal wave of momentum, as “Waves” will take a large chart jump and increase over 200 spins this week. Likewise for labelmate Usher and his track, "I Don't Mind" f/Juicy J. Columbia's got a two-headed monster in T.I.’s "About The Money" and Dej Loaf’s "Try Me"; both will be up north of 250 spins. Look for Republic to score double debuts, as Nicki Minaj f/Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown’s "Only" and Nick Jonas’ "Jealous" both make the chart.

ALTERNATIVE

The gap has considerably closed, but Republic’s Milky Chance will remain #1 with "Stolen Dance" for a 10th week. As we begin next week, Hozier's "Take Me to Church" (Columbia) and Foo Fighters’ "Something From Nothing" (RCA) will battle it out to be the next #1 song. Meanwhile, DCD2/Island’s Fall Out Boy will make a strong move with "Centuries," going #7-5. KidInAKorner/Interscope’s Imagine Dragons will enter the Top 10 with "I Bet My Life," and Zuma Rock/RAL’s BUSH will arrive in the Top 20 with "The Only Way Out." Misterwives’ "Reflections" (Photo Finish/Republic) will make its chart debut, as will Glassnote's Robert DeLong and his new single, "Long Way Down."
