TOP 40
Columbia is feeling very thankful, having captured #1 Most Added honors with One Direction’s “Night Changes” and a second slot with Hozier’s “Take Me to Church.” Republic has two on the list as well with Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” on impact and Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” (DCD2/Island). Epic returns for a third week with Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer,” RCA does the same with Mark Ronson f/Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” and so does Hollywood, which earns a third week on the list with Selena Gomez’s “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” Warner Bros. closes out the action with I Love Makonnen f/Drake’s “Tuesday,” back for a return appearance on the list.
RHYTHM
Epic pours on the gravy, as TeeFlii’s "Change Your World" takes the top spot and Meghan Trainor’s "Lips Are Movin" is in the Most Added column. Republic also celebrates solid performances, as Ariana Grande’s "Santa Tell Me," Nicki Minaj f/Skylar Grey’s "Bed of Lies" (YMCMB/Republic) and Taylor Swift’s "Blank Space" (Big Machine) are all Most Added. RCA also lands three records on the list with Pitbull’s "Time of Our Lives" (Mr.305/RCA), Usher f/Juicy J’s "I Don't Mind" and Prince Royce f/Snoop Dogg’s "Stuck on a Feeling," which all have at least six new commitments this week.
ALTERNATIVE
Glassnote's Robert DeLong remains red-hot, as "Long Way Down" is the Most Added song at Modern Rock for a second week. As we head into Thanksgiving, it’s mostly about close-out adds for acts like RCA's Walk The Moon and their hit, "Shut Up and Dance." Other winners include Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness' "Cecilia and the Satellite" (Crush/Vanguard), Linkin Park's "Final Masquerade" (Warner Bros.) and Glass Animals’ "Gooey" (Harvest).NEAR TRUTHS: REALIGNMENT AND RECOGNITION
