OK, so these three promo guys walk into a bar, and the first one says, "Let me tell you how to get your spins upped in Poughkeepsie," and the second one--oh, you've heard this one before? Fine, let's talk about the adds at three key Mediabase formats.
TOP 40
For the first time in three weeks, we have a new #1 Most Added, as Capitol grabs the top spot with 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Amnesia.” Republic continues to roll with three on the list: Ariana Grande f/Zedd’s “Break Free,” Kiezsa’s “Hideaway” and Enrique Iglesias f/Descemer Bueno, Sean Paul & Gente De Zona’s “Bailando.” RCA picks up two slots with Sia’s “Chandelier” and Usher f/Nicki Minaj’s “She Came to Give It to You,” as does Epic with Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” and Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$.” Def Jam‘s back for a fifth straight week with Iggy Azalea f/Rita Ora’s “Black Widow.” There were two newcomers to the list, including “3005” by Glassnote’s Childish Gambino and “Girls Chase Boys” by Cabin24/Mom + Pop/RED’s Ingrid Michaelson.
RHYTHM
The third time in the Most Added column was the charm for Epic and Lil Jon f/Tyga’s “Bend Ova,” capturing #1 Most Added honors. Def Jam scores big with three on the list: Iggy Azalea f/Rita Ora’s “Black Widow,” August Alsina f/B.o.B & Yo Gotti’s “Numb” and Jeezy f/Jay Z’s “Seen It All.” RCA has another big week on Chris Brown f/Usher & Rick Ross’ “New Flame.” Republic has a third big week with Ariana Grande f/Zedd’s “Break Free.” eOne continues their roll with Game f/Problem & Too Short’s “Or Nah,” as does Capitol with Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”
