CRACKER BARREL HONORS TRAVIS
6/11/18

Credit: Tori Leggett for Cracker Barrel

Randy Travis received the inaugural Cracker Barrel Country Legend Award Saturday at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater. Michael Ray, left, performed a moving rendition of Travis’ “Forever and Ever, Amen” during his set as a tribute and Cracker Barrel Senior Marketing Manager Julie Ulmer joined in while insuring craft services were well-stocked with Ozark Sausage and fried apples.

The honor Travis received is given to country musicians with more than 30 years in the business including past partnerships with Cracker Barrel’s music program. Storme Warren of SiriusXM’s The Highway presented Travis with the award and Cracker Barrel made a $5,000 donation in Travis’ name to the CMA Foundation.

Cracker Barrel donated another $15,000 to the CMA Foundation, the result of its Rock With Us fundraiser.
