JANSON MAKES GRAND OLE HISTORY
3/21/18

Platinum-selling Warner Music Nashville artist Chris Janson made history the other night (3/20) as he became The Grand Ole Opry's youngest living member. Janson commemorated the evening with a performance of his #1 hit songs "Buy Me a Boat" and "Fix a Drink," as well as current single "Drunk Girl."

He was welcomed into the fold by the legendary Garth Brooks, who has been a member himself since 1990. You can watch the induction below.

Pictured before Garth bought them all boats (and matching floaties) are Warner Music Nashville COO Matt Signore, WMN SVP Artist development Shane Tarleton, WMN SVP A&R Cris Lacy, WMN Chairman & CEO John Esposito, Kelly Janson, Chris Janson, Grand Ole Opry GM Sally Williams and Garth Brooks.
