In case you missed it, Monument's Caitlyn Smith made her TV debut on Fallon earlier this week (1/16).

Starting out as a songwriter, Smith has co-penned tunes for the likes of Garth Brooks, Lady Antebellum and James Bay, as well as Meghan Trainor and John Legend (the four-times platinum "Like I'm Gonna Lose You"). With this performance of original song "Contact High," however, she proves she belongs on a stage. Showcasing wicked charm and energy, along with soaring vocals and a killer pair of sequined bell bottoms, she surely captivates. Check it out below.

In celebration of debut album Starfire—out tomorrow 1/19—she'll also appear on CBS This Morning on release day, while a Today gig is scheduled for 1/22.
