Arista Nashville band-to-watch LANCO has garnered quite the buzz since 2016—when they dropped their self-titled debut EP, which just surpassed an impressive 50m collective streams.
And that’s not the group’s only new development this week. Breakout single "Greatest Love Story” has pushed its way into the Top 15 of the iTunes country chart, as well as the Top 25 in radio airplay.
The song—a sentimental misfit’s anthem, powered by sweeping romanticism and emotive lyricism—was written entirely by LANCO lead singer Brandon Lancaster and was produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town), who also worked on the forthcoming full-length, which the band finished recording earlier this month.
To celebrate what’s looking like five-piece’s breakout year, we’re premiering the electric video of “Greatest Love Story,” which was filmed live at Joyce’s studio. Check it out below.
