C2C: A JOLLY GOOD
OL' TIME
3/14/16

For the third straight year, the Country to Country (C2C) festival brought top Nashville acts across the pond starting on Friday; the weekend confab saw Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Dwight Yoakam, Maddie & Tae, Ashley Monroe and others perform at London's O2 Arena, Dublin’s 3Arena and Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium.

Judging by the tenor of reviews such as this overview, this four-star assessment and this Stapleton piece, U.S. country stars are starting to break through in Blighty—particularly the ones who wave the banner of classic Nashville style.

Also, tea sandwiches and haggis go down real smooth with a shot of Fireball.
