LANCO LANDS SONY DEAL
11/24/15

LANco
is the latest signing over at Sony Music Nashville, coming in on the Arista Nashville imprint. The band–formerly known as Lancaster & Company–is "on a mission to make the kind of music that engages listeners in a way that makes them feel like part of the Company," according to a statement from the label. The band added, “we are LANco, and so are you.” You can watch their video intro here.

Upon finding out their pic would run on this silly excuse for a news site, the following execs began realizing that the band had the right idea by blurring out their faces: Sony Music Nashville EVP/COO Ken Robold, A&R Director Taylor Lindsey, A&R VP Jim Catino, EVP Promotion & Artist Development Steve Hodges and Chairman & CEO Randy Goodman, Hill Entertainment Group President Greg Hill and Sony Music Nashville SVP Marketing Paul Barnabee.
