VEVO HEADS TO KING'S CROSS
3/13/17

Vevo has joined Universal Music U.K. in moving to a shiny new office at London’s King's Cross area, doubling its office space and capacity for staff. The move is part of international expansion plans for the major label-owned video-streaming site.

Vevo has signed a lease for the grade II listed building (defined as a particularly important building of more than special interest for you yanks) named The Lighthouse. Across four floors, there will be a performance space, an editing suit, cafe bar and rooftop terrace. It will open in June, and joins offices in New York, San Francisco, Berlin, Los Angeles, Portland and Chicago. “Vevo has bold ambitions to be the music video and entertainment destination of choice for audiences and artists, and our continued growth and investment in Europe is an important piece to our strategy,” Jon Gisby, MD of Europe at Vevo, said.

“Finding a new office building that has the space required for our growing team, and the facilities to support our creative needs, further reinforces our long-term commitment to London, the U.K. and the European market overall.”

For anyone visiting Vevo in their new London base, may we recommend the nearby branch of Dishoom for an exquisite Indian dining experience.
