The Brits have paid respect to late beloved star George Michael by revisiting his catalog, as greatest hits set Ladies & Gentlemen (Sony) sees a 5,625% sales upsurge to hit #8 on the year-end Official Albums Chart. Over on the iTunes chart, it's at #2.

Four of his singles have returned to the Official Singles Top 100, with Wham!’s “Last Christmas” (RCA) at #7, and the second most streamed track of the week with 3.6m streams. Further down, “Careless Whisper” (Epic) is #44, “Faith” (Sony) sits at #64 and Elton John duet “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” (Columbia) is at #91.

Higher up, Clean Bandit have claimed an eighth week at #1 with “Rockabye” (Atlantic). With 44k downloads and 3.4m streams over the past seven days, the track becomes the second-longest running chart-topper in Blighty this year behind Drake’s 15-week run with “One Dance” (Island).

Rising star Zara Larsson has climbed four places to #2 with “I Would Like” (Black Butter), Rag’n’Bone Man is at #3 with “Human” (Columbia) while Little Mix stay at #4 with “Touch” (Syco) and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (Columbia) does the same at #5.
