VARIOUS ARTISTS MANAGEMENT LAUNCHES IN L.A.
11/22/16

Various Artists Management, the U.K.-firm that looks after Atlantic star Charli xcx and Sony U.K. up-and-comer Tom Grennan (Insanity), is opening an L.A. office that Matt Luxon will head up. However, we expect they'll run a mile when they realise we’re here, too.

Luxon began his career in Silicon Valley, working for online market research firm Intersight and joined Various Artists’ umbrella VV Music Services Group in 2008 to launch the firm alongside David Bianchi and Nick Ember. In his new role, Luxon will oversee consolidating the company’s existing relationships, developing new talent and creating opportunities for the Various Artists roster, which includes Barns Courtney, Mstr Rogers, The Libertines and Spiritualised.

The L.A. launch comes after success with Charli xcx in the territory. Thanks to several movie and advertising syncs, Courtney has gained Triple A/Alternative radio support while Rogers has signed to Ultra with over 10m initial streams on Spotify.

Bianchi, co-founder and CEO of Various Artists Management, said, “We operate in a global marketplace and the U.S. is the biggest market in the world. We have already achieved significant success and it makes complete sense, therefore, for us to have an operational presence there to help develop the careers and maximise opportunities for the artists we represent."
