Dua Lipa took on the enormous task of playing both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend (5/4).
From her opening monologue to a skit in which she breaks down the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, Lipa seized the opportunity to flex her acting skills and promote her new album, Radical Optimism (Warner), performing "Illusion" and "Happy for You."
The former, an up-tempo dance number reminiscent of "Dance the Night," found Lipa backed by several dancers and a full band. The latter, introduced by special guest Jerry Seinfeld and featuring a choir, took the tempo down a notch as she sang about seeing an ex-lover with another woman. Both songs, of course, appear on Radical Optimism, out now.
Watch the performances below while we attempt some of these dance moves without breaking a hip.
